Very expensive for italians

I took a charter fight from Italy. The fligh was good and quick.
I visited the island of Rhodes 2 years ago and wanted to see more of Greece. Many friends told me very good words about Mykonos and Santorini Island and really wanted to see those islands by myself.
That it would similar atmosphere and conditions than Rhodes. That there would be some commercial and touristy areas but also some authentic areas.
It met my expectations but it is really different than Rhodes and much more expensive!
Favorite thing about Santorini: The views over the sea, the volcano and the island of Therassia from the traditional villages.
Negative opinion: Too expensive! You really need a good budget.
Recommendations: It is a beautiful island of Greece but very expensive.

I think that I will not go back to Santorini Island for some years as I don't have the kind of budget to enjoy everything.
