I arrived on the island of Santorini by plane with Olympic Airline and the trip was very pleasant.
It is not the first I went to Santorini. For me, it is the asolute destination to relax and we much enjoyed our stay there. The island is fabulous. It has unique landscapes and a great atmosphere. It has one of the nost impressive views because the traditional villages are perched at the edge of impressive cliffs. The villages are really charming with a great architecture. It is like every house was built the one over the other. It is an anarchical way of building but there is also a great harmony in it.<br>The beaches are also very particular as the have black or red beach. I really enjoyed the red beach.

The food is excellent and there are many charming restaurants peched on the cliff. One of the best spot of the island is the village of Oia with great sunsets.
We were very much looking forward to the culture of the island and the environment. There are many great museums there as the archaeological musuem or the museum of Ancient Thera. I was just a little disapointed that the Akrotiri site was closed.
