Santorini: Kamari is situated 10 km south-east of Fira. Kamari is situated in the opposite side of Perissa, with the enormous rock (Mesa Vouno) in the middle.
The landscape is very similar to the endless black sandy beach of Perissa. The difference is that Kamari is not built in the same manner. Here, the settlement lines the beach. It is also much more crowded and for that reason, you will find a larger choice of rooms to let, hotels, tavernas, cafe, bars and night clubs, as well as all kinds of water sports activities on the beach.
From Kamari, you can take a caique, the traditional small fishing boat, to visit the Anafi isle or the Archaeological site of Ancient Thira.
You can also take a caique to reach the beach of Perissa.
